| | Time: | 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM | | Category: | S Spring | | Contact: | Dick and Betty Carlson, Leaders | For several years, Peter Marteka has written a weekly column in the Hartford Courant about trails in Connecticut's parks, preserves, and open spaces. We will explore a selection of these in central and northern Connecticut. At the first hike, participants will be offered a selection of potential locations for subsequent hikes. Depending on the locations, the hikes will vary from one to three hours in length, and some may involve rough terrain. Participants should be able to cover 3 or 4 miles in areas of uneven footing.
